CALIFORNIA FIRE: 62,000 People Have Fled Blaze

THE VINDAUGA IN YOU

How often have you come across or seen a house, car, plane or ship without a window? My guess is "very not often" that is if there is at all. No matter how great a building is, how beautiful it may be and how large it is, a window or windows are always installed on it. Alright, I'm having a unique feeling about this, so let's take a quick meaning to what the Window is.
A window is an opening in a wall , door , roof or vehicle that allows the passage of light and, if not closed or sealed, air and sound. Waooooo, what a lovely symbol it is. Alright, now let's see its origination. The English language word window originates from the Old Norse 'vindauga', from 'vindr – wind' and 'auga – eye', i.e., wind eye. in Swedish the word vindöga remains as a term for a hole through the roof of a hut.
So the Window clearly originates from the word vindauga which means wind and eye.
Now to you and how the window relates to you. The creator also placed in every soul a window. Have you tried taking a good look at yourself and tried asking why do I seem to be stagnant. Just in a minute ask yourself again, what will the neighborhood think of a house whose window is always closed and for once never been seen opened? It would either be - No one lives in that house even though people do, or oh, over there no one is permitted around it, in fact the house will be scary. So are you seen when nature sees the window in you shut always, all inside of you will be filled with darkness, suffocation and you won't be opened to new ideas. I'm not asking you to let people in now, but nature, life itself. How opened you are to it, so will you see through it and receive from it. You are only opened to new ideas, information, knowledge and understanding if you keep your window opened. Don't feel because life isn't fair then you wanna shut yourself out of it, no no no, if you do that you only cause more agony to yourself.
Leave that window opened so you can receive the light and see through the beauty of life itself and the unaccountable opportunities you are opened to. Know that the fisherman never stops fishing because of the storm. Then, you shouldn't keep your window shut always because of a storm in the past.
The window gives beauty to the house only when it is allowed to perform its functions.

CALIFORNIA FIRE: 62,000 People Have Fled Blaze

The evacuations have come amid a grueling heat wave, the coronavirus pandemic and air thick with smoke. The wildfires have burned through more than 350,000 acres. The wildfires that continued to rip across Northern California on Thursday have forced 62,000 people from their homes and threaten evacuations for 100,000 more. Firefighters have struggled to contain the blazes, and massive smoke clouds have harmed the air quality. A large group of fires burning in wine country west of Sacramento had grown to cover 131,000 acres, according to Cal Fire, the state’s fire authority. The agency said that, in all, nearly 350,000 acres have burned in Northern and Central California, with many fires sparked by lightning strikes in the high heat and then fanned by winds. Those conditions helped new fires sprout across the state on Wednesday and Thursday, and caused other fires to merge, complicating efforts to contain the combined blazes. Almost two dozen major fires were reported on Wednesday,...

#Coronavirus & Flu - Washing hands for 20 seconds could keep you clear.

With flu season in full swing and the   coronavirus spreading rapidly throughout China, it's more important than ever that people take precautions to stay healthy. Officials in China   have confirmed more than 6,000 cases   of the respiratory illness and 132 deaths, and there have been five confirmed cases of the disease in the United States. As for the flu, there have been at least 15 million American cases this season  as of Jan. 18 , including 8,200 deaths — 54 of which were pediatric deaths. According to the   Centers for Disease Control , one of the best ways to protect yourself from these illnesses is to wash your hands often, and with the right technique. When your hands are clean, you can prevent germs from spreading from one person to another. To successfully wash hands, follow these five steps recommended by the CDC. Reopenings: “New Wide Release Movies Are Unlikely To Be Available”

The National Association of Theatre Owners is continuing its work advocating for cinemas during the COVID-19 pandemic. In their latest statement, the association responds to several states’ plans to open theaters as early as next week. The White House’s plan to open the economy includes theaters under “Phase One,” meaning they would be allowed to open after the area in which they operate in satisfies  three qualifying criteria . In the days since the White House released its plan, Georgia governor Brian Kemp has stated that movie theaters in his state  could be allowed to open as early as next Monday, April 27  if they adhere to “specific social distancing and sanitation mandates.” Governors of Tennessee and South Carolina have also announced plans to allow non-essential businesses to reopen, though what this means for movie theaters specifically has not yet been clarified. As states begin to move towards reopening, NATO issued the following statement: While some states a...
