CALIFORNIA FIRE: 62,000 People Have Fled Blaze

#FEW TIPS ON GREETINGS FOR AN INTERVIEW

I just had to seriously put this together after i heard a Bsc holder disgraced himself, his certificate and virtually the school who gave that certificate to him during an interview today at Eko Hotel & Suites earlier on today by prostrating to each and everyone of the interviewer one after the other. Common its isnt a traditional wedding now, as a female friend of mine said, its an interview and your culture isnt needed or required there. So, i just had to pull this few tips together for us all so that such scenario wouldn't be repeated by any one of us again.... 1. Walk confidently toward the interviewer or into the interviewer's office . Hold your head erect while looking forward. Keep your back and shoulders straight. Avoid timid behaviors such as shuffling hesitantly or peeking into the interviewer's office. 2. Make eye contact with the interviewer to demonstrate your sincerity. Smile warmly and extend your right hand. 3. Grasp the interviewer's hand ...

Abeokuta's Flood - Prevent it before a cure will be needed

😓😒😞 This is a big disappointment, i could hardly believe it when this was sent to me this morning. First it was lekki in Lagos State and now it is Abeokuta in Ogun State. See refuse, haha.... Haaba, its too much, ii actually dont know if the flood brought the refuse from a far distance or if people had turned drainage's and canals into a refuse dump before the flood, or if it was during the flood people started dumping their refuse in it. Please we need to stop this uncalled for attitudes and learn to dispose our refuse properly. Ogun State Government also needs to provide a means for the people to dispose refuse and also make sure refuse are dumped properly by the residents of the state. A quick prevention should be done before this flood becomes what will make people homeless. Ise logun Ise.

Almost two-thirds of children worry 'all the time'

At nine, Tom was so worried about not being able to do his class work that he kept running out of the school gates. More than once he tried to escape out of a first-floor window, convinced his teacher was criticising him. He is not alone - research among 700 children aged 10 and 11 for the mental-health charity Place2Be suggests almost two-thirds worry "all the time". Concerns about family and friends and fear of failing at school are the top causes of anxiety, says the charity. The school referred Tom and his mother for counselling sessions, run by the charity at the school. Anger control Tom felt he could not learn and his mother could not get a job as she was so worried about what would happen if he ran home from school and found her gone. Tom was taught breathing exercises to control his anger and reduce his anxiety - techniques he used for the rest of his school career. "It helped me get through," he said. Eight years on he applied f...

Gods Own Treasure

SOUTHERN KADUNA, GOD'S TREASURE: I was born, bred and 'buttered' in Southern Kaduna and I'm greatly proud of it. Southern Kaduna Land and her people are the most neglected in Nigeria. Reasons being that both the land and her people abhors and rejects Islam as a faith. Thank God for the Catholic Church, which 'flooded' our land with schools. No wonder, Southern Kaduna remains the most educated in the north! NOTE THESE: * Late Usman Dan Fodio came with his evil jihad, he islamized the core north, but Southern Kaduna fought back, distanced herself from Islam and its menaces. God gave us victory! * The late northern premier, Alh Ahmadu Bello also came. He used both crude and subtle methods to Islamize Southern Kaduna, but our fathers fought him and rejected the obnoxious religion. And God gave us victory!! * In 1999 - 2000, the satanic rulers of the north set themselves and took counsel against us and our God. They swept the entire north with violence towar...
