#FEW TIPS ON GREETINGS FOR AN INTERVIEW

I just had to seriously put this together after i heard a Bsc holder disgraced himself, his certificate and virtually the school who gave that certificate to him during an interview today at Eko Hotel & Suites earlier on today by prostrating to each and everyone of the interviewer one after the other. Common its isnt a traditional wedding now, as a female friend of mine said, its an interview and your culture isnt needed or required there. So, i just had to pull this few tips together for us all so that such scenario wouldn't be repeated by any one of us again....

1. Walk confidently toward the interviewer or into the interviewer's office. Hold your head erect while looking forward. Keep your back and shoulders straight. Avoid timid behaviors such as shuffling hesitantly or peeking into the interviewer's office.

2. Make eye contact with the interviewer to demonstrate your sincerity. Smile warmly and extend your right hand.

3. Grasp the interviewer's hand palm-to-palm. Squeeze his hand firmly, but not so tightly as to cause discomfort. Maintain eye contact and smile.

4. Introduce yourself, followed by a pleasantry. For example, say, "Hello, I'm Aboloyinjo Emmanuel. It's a pleasure to meet you." If the interviewer tells you his name, you can say, "It's a pleasure to meet you, Mr. Jones." Release the person's hand as soon as the verbal introductions are complete.

Tip
Refer to your interviewer in a formal manner unless she instructs you to do otherwise. For example, use "Mr." or "Ms."

Warnings
Do not sit down until the interviewer sits down or asks you to have a seat.
If you tend to have sweaty hands, discreetly wipe them on your pants or skirt before shaking hands with your interviewer.

I do hope we learn from this.... please don't act like an Ibadan Man in front of your interviewer... (just kidding tough).

ALWAYS A LIGHT IN THE DARKNESS

Many have been so broken, to the extend they see everything about life as dark. Some have even lost the hope of anything good in life. So take life as "Nothing good comes out of it". Verse versa, So many good people have spent their entire life tagging some others as total darkness, but No, there is nothing of such as total darkness, there is always a light in every darkness, waiting to shine, but it needs more attention to do that. Remember, " more charging time is to power the brightness of the touch" the moment you stop charging, then gradually it goes brim and finally dies off. So have we failed to help some people let their light shine by casting them out, not giving a single chance to them. So I inspire you today to stand by those whom you ones tagged as darkness, you could do that from a far not necessarily physically close. The same goes to you who have tagged the world as dark and given up hope, there are is a light out there for you deep within the darkne...
