INEC declares Osun State Election Inconclusive

The APC has rejected the result saying that elections in some of its stronghold was cancelled and requested that it should be don again considering the difference between the ruling party and the main opposition party is 354 and the proposed disenfranchised voters are about 3,498.

(1) Orolu LG - 947 voters

(2) Ife South LG - 502 voters

(3) Ife North LG - 353 voters

(4) Osogbo LG - 884 voters

Total - 3,498

Elections declared inconclusive

Rerun is likely to take place at the polling units where 3,498 Votes were cancelled in Osogbo, Orolu and Ife South local governments.

The rerun of the OSUN Governorship election has been fixed for Thursday September 27, 2018 at the units where votes were cancelled.
